SAUERESSIG and A.Celli, a renowned Italian machine manufacturer for the paper and nonwovens industry, have jointly developed a 3D embossing and opening line with inline cutting and winding technology that meets the evolving requirements of hygiene nonwoven manufacturers.
We are pleased to announce that A.Celli and SAUERESSIG have combined their expertise to develop a new, innovative solution for the next generation of absorbent hygiene products.
The result of this collaboration is the VoluMAX³ 3D embossing and aperturing line, a stand-alone solution comprising an A.Celli E-WIND® non-stop unwinder, an inline slitter rewinder and an optional metal detector, together with a preheating unit featuring an S-wrap roller configuration and an embossing calender developed by SAUERESSIG.
The collaboration between the two companies has resulted in a flexible and easy-to-maintain solution that guarantees the highest levels of precision, quality and speed of up to 600 m/min. It enables embossing and perforation to be combined in a single process and reliably complies with the most stringent safety and environmental standards.
The aim of the VoluMAX³ line is to create new high-tech hygiene products for every stage of life, offering noticeably gentler skin contact for greater comfort and optimised liquid absorption. This new line, which will become part of the A.Celli F-LINE® family of multifunctional lines, will complement the company’s proven reel technology and complete its range of solutions for processing soft materials.
