Three Donation Handovers
SAUERESSIG Makes Three Donations to Good Causes
Last Monday, SAUERESSIG once again demonstrated its social commitment and strong ties to the local region. Three donation handovers were on the agenda. The recipients were the Vreden food bank, the Vreden Youth Fire Brigade and Leandra, a young girl who urgently requires financial support for the training of her autism assistance dog, Berthe.
The Vreden food bank, which distributes food to people in need, received a generous donation of €2,055. The youth division of the Vreden Volunteer Fire Brigade, whose members volunteer to help ensure the safety of local residents, was delighted to receive a donation of €500. The funds will be used, among other things, to purchase new equipment.
The donation to Leandra was particularly moving. The young girl has early childhood autism and urgently requires financial support for the training of her autism assistance dog, Berthe, who will help make everyday life easier for her in the future. However, the cost of training the dog is very high, amounting to approximately €35,000. SAUERESSIG is supporting Leandra with a donation of €2,055 and is pleased to contribute towards bringing her dream of a life with autism assistance dog Berthe one step closer.
SAUERESSIG Managing Director Markus Pennekamp, Works Council Chairman Alfons Niehues and his deputy Jörg Völkering emphasised that social commitment is a matter of great importance to both them and the company, allowing them to contribute towards improving people’s quality of life.
