SAUERESSIG announces MATCHES 2.5 with Global Webinar Series for Packaging and Surface Design

Press | September 18, 2026

VREDEN, Germany — SAUERESSIG Group will introduce MATCHES 2.5, the latest version of its AI-powered image and design search solution, in a four-part international webinar series. Two sessions will focus on packaging applications and two on surface and décor design, each offered in a morning and afternoon time slot to accommodate audiences across Europe, Asia, and the Americas.

New features transform MATCHES from a powerful search tool into a collaborative workspace where teams can explore, select, and curate visual data together. Key enhancements include multi-tenant support for managing multiple sites or brands within a single instance, workload balancing for greater performance at scale, a redesigned and more intuitive user interface, direct metadata editing, and expanded role and user management for finer-grained access control.

A standout addition is MATCHES 2.5’s region-of-interest detection, now specifically tuned for packaging and surface layouts — enabling more precise, format-aware search results across repeats, details, and decor references than any previous version.

The webinars will cover the core capabilities of MATCHES, including similarity and commonality search and API-first integration with MIS, ERP, and DAM systems, before diving into what’s new in version 2.5.

“With MATCHES 2.5, we’re giving packaging and surface teams a faster, more precise way to find and reuse design assets — turning what used to take hours into seconds,” said Anastasia Folak, Strategy & Commercial Intelligence Manager at SAUERESSIG.

Registration for all four sessions is now open at saueressig-matches.com/webinar. Attendees can choose the track and time slot that best fits their industry focus and time zone.
