SAUERESSIG Surfaces Expands Its Capacity for the Direct Structuring of Metallic Surfaces
Following the successful commissioning of the first Cellaxy V5 XL laser at the Vreden site in 2022, SAUERESSIG is expanding its production capacity with a second high-performance laser at its Mönchengladbach site. The new Cellaxy V5 XL once again sets new standards in the direct structuring of metallic surfaces – combining maximum precision with outstanding versatility.
The Cellaxy V5 XL enables the direct structuring of steel and copper surfaces – from the finest microstructures to large-scale, deep engravings. This opens up a wide range of applications across numerous industries. With a second Cellaxy V5 XL laser, SAUERESSIG now offers expanded capacity at two locations for customised solutions and high-precision engraving.
The enhanced processing capabilities at the Mönchengladbach site are particularly noteworthy:
Cylinder circumferences from 300 mm to 1,600 mm
Maximum engraving width: 3,400 mm
Maximum cylinder weight: up to 3,000 kg
Three-jaw chuck for optimal cylinder mounting
Expanded Capacity for Customers
With the new system, SAUERESSIG will be able to respond even more flexibly to customer requirements in the future while ensuring maximum efficiency in the engraving of metallic surfaces. Applications in the décor sector will benefit in particular from the ability to reproduce fine and complex designs with the highest level of repeatability.
Frank Attula, Head of Production at SAUERESSIG Surfaces, emphasises: “Investing in a second Cellaxy V5 XL laser is an important step in further expanding our production capacities. By using state-of-the-art technology, we can achieve even more precise and efficient engravings and offer our customers the highest quality.”
Carsten Stolzenberg, Sales Director at SAUERESSIG Surfaces, also sees clear advantages: “With the new Cellaxy laser, we are strengthening our position as an innovation leader in direct engraving. The expanded processing capabilities allow us to respond even more flexibly to customer requirements and to produce even the most complex structures with the highest precision.”
The installation of the new Cellaxy V5 XL laser marks another step towards the future – enabling even more precise, efficient and innovative production at SAUERESSIG Surfaces.
