Question 1: What exactly does SAUERESSIG Elastomers contribute to the topic of sustainability?
For all our flexographic printing forms, we rely on recyclable materials with considerably higher durability compared to conventional polymerplates or -sleeves and a completely solvent-free imaging process.
Question 2: What other advantages does your resourcesaving work offer?
Thanks to the possibility of recoating existing elastomer sleeves, we significantly increase their service life – this way we work cost-efficiently and save valuable resources at the same time.
Question 3: Are there any other exciting approaches to conserving resources?
In addition to sleeve recoating, there is also the approach of grinding a sleeve down to the next possible (smaller) outside diameter. This means that no further rubber material is required and the reworking can be completed in a very short time. Are there any other exciting approaches to conserving resources? This saves not only material and costs, but also valuable time. We are always working to optimize our sustainable solutions for flexographic printing forms!
