SAUERESSIG hands over three donations for a good cause

Last Monday, the SAUERESSIG company once again demonstrated its social commitment and its attachment to the region. Three donations were handed over. The recipients were the Tafel, the Vreden youth fire department and Leandra, a young girl who urgently needs financial support for the training of her autism assistance dog Berthe.

The Tafel Vreden, which distributes food to those in need, received a generous donation of 2,055 euros. The youth department of the Vreden Fire Department, which works voluntarily to ensure the safety of citizens, was pleased to receive a donation of 500 euros. The money will be used, for example, for the purchase of new equipment.

The presentation of the donation to Leandra was particularly touching. The young girl suffers from early childhood autism and urgently needs financial support for the training of the autism assistance dog Berthe, which should make her everyday life easier in the future. The costs of training the dog are very high, amounting to around 35,000 euros. SAUERESSIG supports Leandra with a donation of 2,055 euros and is pleased to be able to make a small contribution to bringing the dream of a life with autism companion dog Berthe a little closer.

SAUERESSIG Managing Director Markus Pennekamp and the Chairmen of the Works Council Alfons Niehues and Jörg Völkering emphasized that it is a great concern for them and the company to be socially involved and thus contribute to improving the quality of life.
