Employee donation for a good cause

Rieke Liesmann, director of the Elisabeth hospice in Stadtlohn, was pleased to receive a large cheque. The employees of Matthews Europe GmbH at the Duisburg/Vreden site and the employees of Matthews International GmbH at the Vreden site had collected the considerable sum of Euro 4,343 for the hospice as part of a charity campaign from last year’s Christmas raffle and a voluntary donation from the staff.

The institution has been doing excellent work in the region and beyond for years. Rieke Liesmann thanked all donors for the support of their daily work to accompany people at the end of their lives.
The donation was handed over by the chairman of the works council Alfons Niehues and his deputy Jörg Völkering with great joy and pride.
