Aktuelle Forschungsprojekte
BatWoMen
The project optimizes the sustainable and cost-effective production of lithium-ion batteries in the EU. By reducing the use of solvents, innovative electrolyte filling and AI-enabled data platforms, costs and energy consumption will be cut by more than 50% and emissions reduced.
GUTBatt
The goal is to develop a scalable, solvent-free dry coating for electrodes made of innovative materials for lithium-ion and solid electrolyte batteries. GUTBatt includes the investigation of safe process routes, their establishment at laboratory scale and upscaling for continuous production.
TROMBIBATT
The TROMBIBATT project is developing a low-cost, energy-efficient, solvent-free process for the manufacture of lithium-ion battery electrodes.
Grab-adv
The goal of the Grabadv project is to further develop the technology for manufacturing graphite-based bipolar plates to optimize their performance and cost-effectiveness.
HoWaLIB
HoWaLIB aims to upscale roll texturing for lithium-ion batteries. The project will develop a high-throughput equipment concept, investigate roll degradation and integrate the technology into industrial production.
SkaleD
The SkaleD project aims to scale up the direct extrusion process for the production of lithium-ion battery electrodes to an industrial level. It optimizes the processes for more efficient, resource-saving production, including the integration of new technologies.
BiPro2Scale
BiPro2Scale develops an innovative flow field concept for large-area metallic bipolar plates with power densities above 1 MW. It optimizes the use of materials, coating and sealing to increase efficiency and lifetime.
